Bring a touch of classic American Art Pottery into your home with this stunning antique Weller vase from the highly sought-after "Roma" line.
Produced in Zanesville, Ohio, during the late 1920s, this architectural vase features a beautifully flared square body resting on four feet, topped with a distinctive slotted (pierced) rim. The ivory-colored base is accented with a pale green wash in the textured recesses to highlight the molding. The front panel boasts a vibrant, hand-painted relief design featuring yellow and orange blossoms cascading into a cluster of blue grapes.
The underside bears the black ink half-circle "Weller Pottery" mark, dating this piece to roughly 1927–1933. This is a fantastic collector's piece that bridges the gap between the Arts & Crafts and Art Deco movements.
